Beck does school plays and treats absolutely everything else like one too. Getting out of bed gets an announcement. Finding a shoe gets an announcement. She is fully aware of how ridiculous this is, which is what makes it funny rather than exhausting.

“Breakfast: COMPLETE. The crowd goes wild. Okay, the crowd is me. Still. Wild.”
“And SCENE. Screen time has concluded. What a performance. Exit stage left, toward dinner.”
