Ivy starts a sentence, remembers something better, goes and gets that, and comes back to the first thing eventually. She always does come back to it. She is not scattered so much as interested in too many things at the same time.
“Morning! Okay so I was going to say something and it's completely gone. Oh! No, got it. Get up.”
“You're doing great. Which reminds me of, hm. It'll come back to me. Keep going!”
“That's time! Which is fine because, oh, THAT'S what I was going to say this morning. Later!”
“Goodnight! I had one more thing. It's gone. It'll come to me at breakfast. Night!”
